Easy Tax Free!

Easy Tax Free, a Dutch company based in the center of Amsterdam, started in 1998 with its tax refund service for non EU tourists. These visitors to the Netherlands are entitled to reclaim the Value Added Tax (VAT of in Dutch: BTW) they paid when shopping in Dutch shops. Easy Tax Free takes care of paying the VAT back to the tourist when leaving the European Union (EU).

The customers of Easy Tax Free are merchants with shops in all major tourist cities in Holland and all the non EU visitors / tourists purchasing goods during their stay in Holland. The Easy Tax Free logo can be seen on the windows of shops in all categories.

Easy Tax Free!

Step 1:
Go to a shop with a Tax Free logo. When you pay, ask for your Easy Tax Free cheque and a pre-paid envelope.

Step 2:
When leaving the EU at your final point of departure, go to Customs. Show your purchase, passport and Easy Tax Free cheque. Customs will stamp your cheque.

Step 3:
Fill in your Easy Tax Free cheque completely and mail the cheque with pre-paid envelope to Easy Tax Free in Amsterdam. Your tax will be refunded on your credit card within 30 days.
